For a couple of days now, beaTunes users were unable to connect to the central database that is queried when using Online Resources. Even though the database isn't central for beaTunes to work (pretty much all provided results can also be calculated offline), I want to apologize for the extended outage. At the same time, I'd like to assure you that I'm working hard to bring the database back online. For those of you curious about what caused the problem—it was a harddrive failure. Guess, I'm switching to RAID5 after all to speed up the restore process.
