Update: beaTunes 6.0.3

Without further ado: here's 6.0.3.

As always, you can download the new version from the download section of the website.

Changes in 6.0.3

  • Improved "Same artist, different genre": it also suggests a genre for songs without one.
  • Fixed sign-in and online features failing when antivirus software or a proxy scans HTTPS.
  • Fixed progress bars stuttering, for example while uploading logs.
  • Fixed "Upload Logs" leaving its progress dialog open when the log package cannot be created.
  • Fixed some progress dialogs showing a thinner progress bar than others.
  • Fixed "Album Info" no longer showing Wikipedia descriptions; they now come in your language.
  • Improved the speed of "Album Info" and of the "Similar Artist" rule for matching songs.
  • Fixed sorting by "Date Analyzed", "Year", "Tags", "Language", "MPM" and the "Custom" columns.
  • Fixed the color found by analysis disappearing after a restart, for songs analyzed for the first time.
  • Fixed folder library synchronization stopping on tags added to several files outside beaTunes.
  • Fixed playlists being lost when beaTunes 6 started after beaTunes 5 had used the same library.
  • Fixed beaTunes freezing for seconds when switching to it, with large Music libraries.
  • Added an offer to turn off "Synchronize on window activation" for libraries of 10,000+ songs.
  • Fixed tag lookups on Discogs failing with an internal error when Discogs reports a problem.
  • Added the commit a build was made from to the About dialog and the logs, to help support.
